Graduated as political scientist at Universidad Rafael Landivar University and Associate Degree in Political Studies at Fundación Ortega y Gasset.

He's currently Executive Director in the NGO Guatecambia, leading their projects Congreso Transparente and Munis Abiertas. On 2016, he has worked as secretary of the Open Government Civil Society Coordinator Network and he's actually leading the Guatemalan Open Congress Alliance.

For 5 years, he has specialized in the study, implementation and advocacy of open government initiatives, more specifically those involving civic engagement, freedom of access to information and civic tech.

He has worked as an adviser in issues concerning budget spending and accountability in the legislative branch.
